Yuva Sangarsh - Swami Vivekananda Youth Leadership Award Contest 2021

Yuva Sangharsh is an annual youth leadership contest conducted by the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence (VIHE) – an organization part of the Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. The contest, in its essence, is a complete Personality Development course. Through the medium of this contest, VIHE aims to make youth today understand the ideals that Swami Vivekananda stood for and his unwavering belief in the potential of the youth.

Over six seasons, since 2011, the contest has provided a platform for the youth to discover themselves by constantly challenging their beliefs, to create a deeper understanding of themselves, that in-turn helps build solution oriented leaders that are inspired to address problems. The contest tests its participants through the medium of essays, table-top rounds, extempores, group activities, and speeches etc. These unconventional activities force the participants to expand their horizons and think beyond their comfort zone.

Over the last 10 years this platform has produced dedicated leaders who have done exceptional work across fields. We believe that the next Outstanding Leader for 2021 will be no exception and will continue the legacy of the contest and the work of Swami Vivekananda through both their thoughts and actions.

The registrations for Yuva Sangharsh 2021 are now open for students of Senior Secondary across all boards of education.
