Yuva Sangharsh - 2nd Round Contest Orientation Meeting

The Orientation-cum-Training Session with around 130+ Yuva Sangharsh Participants, who have qualified for Round 2, took place on 19th Sept 2021.

The session began with seeking the blessings of the Almighty by chanting the Pranam Mantras. It was followed by a musical song "Veer Senapati Vivekananda", sung by Anirudh Sharma and Advaith Roy, alumni of Yuva Sangharsh. Today, the 19th of September is an important day in the history of India. On this day in 1893, Swami Vivekananda gave a 2-hour long speech on Hinduism in Chicago. On this occasion, Swami Bodhamayanandaji Maharaj read out few excerpts from the speech and explained the essence of it.

This was followed by a video presentation of Honourable Chief Justice of India, N.V.Ramana Sir's message to the youth on the occasion of the 128th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Historic Address at Chicago and 22nd Foundation Day of Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence. He talked about the skills the youth of India should have and how the youth of India should take inspiration from Swami Vivekananda and other great leaders, to step out of their comfort zones and solve the problems India is facing today.

After this, Ajit Singh Sir, one of the Senior Faculty of VIHE, and Pratyusha Mam, HR professional at Cognizant, and Volunteer of VIHE addressed the students. They have guided the students and gave them few tips on how to perform in the upcoming rounds of Yuva Sangharsh.

Later, Prashanthi Vinoth, an alumnus of Yuva Sangharsh, introduced the 2nd event of Round 2 of Yuva Sangharsh and there was a mock session conducted for the participants. All the participants were excited and participated in the mock session with enthusiasm.

The session ended with a Q/A session and chanting of the Pranam Mantras.
